Go Opportunities

We love Jesus and want to live, serve and love like He did. That’s why we are crazy about doing all we can to help meet the needs of the Gautier Community and beyond. It just never fails. Anytime we stretch ourselves to reach out and serve our neighbors WE are the ones blessed beyond belief by this simple act of trying to love like Jesus. We invite you to “serve like Jesus” AND GO with GFUMC.

CHURCH! HERE'S WHAT YOU DID IN 2022!

GFUMC's mission footprint continues to grow and it's because of you. Below are just some of the many wonderful ways we are expanding the kingdom of heaven right here in Gautier and beyond.

2022 GFUMC MISSION IMPACT

*GFUMC fed over 900 Food Pantry patrons and their families. We also sponsored multiple community wide food drops.

*Over 600 children enjoyed our second annual Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat and VBS outreach events. We also added a Spring Fling Family Fun Day with the City.

*91 children were provided weekly weekend nourishment via Backpack Buddies.

*We have 5 Care Closets between Singing River Academy, Gautier Middle and Gautier High Schools providing hygiene supplies and snacks.

*Over $10,000 was given to local charities by our United Methodist Men and their amazing Pecan Fundraiser.

But there’s MORE...In so many ways we are bringing food resources, discipleship training, worship opportunities, financial assistance, disaster relief, new ministries to local children, tweens, students— like “Donut Wednesday” and our “Bacot Park” outreach,— and continued support for those that are grieving. And it’s because of you…

Your continued financial support helps move our church forward in sharing and showing the love of Jesus to a broken world. I appreciate all the ways you are giving above and beyond–expanding our reach.

A missional heart is very much ALIVE and GROWING at GFUMC. We couldn’t be doing any of these new and wonderful things without your prayers, presence, financial gifts, service and witness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the hands and feet of Christ. The mission is THRIVING because of you. Looking for a church to be the hands and feet of Christ with? I invite you to join us.

Thanking God for the gift of you,

Rev. MJ
